DIN Cast Iron Non Rising-Stem Gate Valve

Technical Requirement:
  1. Design and Manufacture: DIN 3352;
  2. Face to Face: DIN 3202 F4/F5
  3. Flange End: DIN 2532 PN10/16;

Description

The non-rising stem gate valve is designed for applications where vertical space is limited. Unlike rising stem valves, the handwheel rotates the stem which moves the gate up and down internally without the stem itself rising. This compact design makes it ideal for underground installation or systems with low headroom. It features a robust cast iron body with brass or stainless steel sealing surfaces for reliable shut-off.

Product Features:
  • Compact Design: The non-rising stem mechanism ensures the overall height of the valve remains constant during operation, making it perfect for spaces with height restrictions or underground piping.
  • Durable Sealing: Sealing surfaces are made of Brass or Stainless Steel (SS304), providing excellent corrosion resistance and a tight seal for water and vapor applications.
  • Heavy-Duty Construction: Larger sizes (DN200–DN300) utilize GGG40 Ductile Iron for the body to withstand higher mechanical stresses.
  • Low Flow Resistance: The full-bore straight-through design minimizes pressure drop across the valve.
