Description

The Cast Iron Rubber Lined Butterfly Valve is a flanged centerline butterfly valve whose body is fully lined with elastomer. The disc rotates within the liner to provide tight, bidirectional shut-off, while the lining protects the iron body from corrosion and abrasion. It is a versatile, low-maintenance valve for water and mildly corrosive media.

Technical Specifications:
  • Pressure Class: PN10 / PN16
  • Size Range: DN50 – DN1200
  • Applicable Medium: Water, sewage, seawater, weak acids and alkalis
  • Operating Temperature: -10°C to 80°C

DiscDuctile Iron (rubber-coated or nickel-plated)
LinerEPDM / NBR
ShaftStainless Steel 2Cr13
OperatorWorm Gear / Lever
Key Product Features:
  1. Full Lining: Elastomer liner covers the entire wetted body surface for corrosion resistance.
  2. Bubble-Tight: Zero leakage in both directions.
  3. Low Torque: Centerline design with self-lubricating bushings for easy operation.
  4. Light Weight: Much lighter than an equivalent gate valve.
  5. Actuation Options: Handle, worm gear, electric or pneumatic.
Applications:

Ideal for Water Supply, Wastewater Treatment, Desalination, and Chemical Dosing Lines. Specifically suited for corrosive or abrasive media where an unlined iron body would degrade.
