Vent Butterfly Valve

Technical Requirement:
  1. Design & Manufacture: Manufacturer standard
  2. Face-to-Face: Manufacturer standard
  3. End Flanges: GB/T 9119 (PN2.5) or per duct drawing
  4. Inspection & Test: GB/T 13927

Description

The Vent Butterfly Valve is a ventilation (air) butterfly valve for low-pressure air, gas and dust-laden ducts. Its welded or cast body with flanged ends, simple disc and worm gear handwheel allow on/off and regulation of airflow in ventilation and dust-removal systems. The design prioritizes light weight, low cost and easy maintenance for large-volume, low-pressure service.

Technical Specifications:
  • Pressure Class: PN0.5 – PN2.5 (0.05 – 0.25 MPa)
  • Size Range: DN100 – DN2000
  • Applicable Medium: Air, flue gas, dust-laden gas, coal gas
  • Operating Temperature: ≤ 200°C (higher with special seal)

PackingAsbestos-free graphite
Key Product Features:
  1. Low-Pressure Air Design: Optimized for ventilation and dust systems, not liquid shut-off.
  2. Airflow Regulation: Disc angle can be set for flow balancing.
  3. Lightweight Construction: Steel plate body for easy handling in large sizes.
  4. Worm Gear Handwheel: Smooth, self-locking manual operation; electric actuator available.
  5. Heat Resistant: Suitable for hot air and flue gas up to 200°C.
Applications:

Ideal for Ventilation Systems, Dust Removal, Cement & Mining Plants, and Power Plant Air Ducts. Specifically suited for controlling large volumes of low-pressure air or gas.
