Description

The Regulating Valve is an in-line piston (plunger) type flow control valve driven by an electric actuator. An axially moving piston inside a streamlined, rotationally symmetrical body throttles the flow through a slotted cage, giving precise, linear control and excellent resistance to cavitation. It is designed for flow and pressure regulation in large water transmission and distribution systems.

Technical Specifications:
  • Pressure Class: PN10 / PN16 / PN25 / PN40
  • Size Range: DN150 – DN1600
  • Applicable Medium: Raw water, potable water, treated water
  • Operating Temperature: 0°C to 80°C
Main Parts and Materials:
Parts NameMaterials
BodyDuctile Iron QT450-10 / Cast Steel
PistonStainless Steel 304 / 316
Slotted CageStainless Steel
SealEPDM / NBR
ActuatorElectric multi-turn with gearbox, IP67
Key Product Features:
  1. Linear Control: Axial piston gives an accurate, near-linear flow characteristic.
  2. Anti-Cavitation Cage: Slotted cage directs jets to the pipe center, protecting the body.
  3. Streamlined Body: Annular flow path minimizes turbulence and noise.
  4. Tight Shut-Off: Piston seals against the seat for drop-tight closure.
  5. Remote Operation: Electric actuator with 4–20 mA modulating control available.
Applications:

Ideal for Water Transmission Pipelines, Reservoir Outlets, Water Treatment Plants, and Hydropower Bypass. Specifically suited for high-differential-pressure flow and pressure regulation.
