Pipe Force Valve (Hydraulic Pump Outlet Valve)

Technical Requirement:
  1. Design & Manufacture: Manufacturer standard
  2. Face-to-Face: Manufacturer standard
  3. End Flanges: GB/T 17241.6
  4. Inspection & Test: GB/T 13927

Description

The Pipe Valve (pipe-force valve) is an energy-saving, hydraulically controlled valve installed at pump outlets. Driven by the pipeline’s own pressure, it opens fully when the pump starts and closes automatically and slowly when the pump stops, combining the functions of a check valve, gate valve and water hammer eliminator. Its full, straight-through bore gives almost no flow resistance, reducing pumping energy.

Technical Specifications:
  • Pressure Class: PN10 / PN16 / PN25
  • Size Range: DN100 – DN1600
  • Applicable Medium: Clean water, raw water, sewage
  • Operating Temperature: 0°C to 80°C
Main Parts and Materials:
Parts NameMaterials
BodyDuctile Iron QT450-10 / Cast Steel
DiscDuctile Iron / Stainless Steel
SealEPDM / NBR
ShaftStainless Steel
Hydraulic Control UnitStainless Steel cylinder, copper tubing
Key Product Features:
  1. Self-Powered Operation: Uses pipeline pressure, no electricity required.
  2. Full-Bore, Low Resistance: Straight passage saves pumping energy compared with check valves.
  3. Slow Closing: Controlled closure prevents backflow and water hammer.
  4. Multi-Function: Replaces separate check, gate and anti-surge devices.
  5. Low Maintenance: Simple hydraulic system with few moving parts.
Applications:

Ideal for Water Supply Pump Stations, Drainage Pump Stations, Industrial Circulating Water, and Irrigation Pumping. Specifically suited for pump outlets where energy saving and surge protection are priorities.
