Description

The Non-Rising Stem Wedge Gate Valve is a cast iron NRS gate valve with a metal wedge disc. The stem turns inside the bonnet while the wedge travels along it, keeping the overall height low and protecting the stem threads. Its robust cast iron body and copper-faced sealing rings make it a classic, economical choice for water and low-pressure steam isolation.

Key Product Features:
  1. Space-Saving NRS Design: Constant installed height suits tight spaces and pipe trenches.
  2. Copper Seat Rings: Brass sealing faces resist wear and corrosion for dependable closure.
  3. Wedge Gate: Wedge geometry increases sealing force as the valve closes.
  4. Bidirectional Flow: Seals in both directions, simplifying installation.
  5. Low Flow Resistance: Straight-through bore when fully open.
Applications:

Ideal for Water Supply Networks, Heating Systems, Drainage, and General Industrial Piping. Specifically suited for full-open / full-close duty where installation height is limited.
