Description

The Cast Steel Butterfly Valve is a flanged butterfly valve with a WCB carbon steel body, designed for higher pressures and temperatures than iron valves allow. Its offset disc design and choice of soft or metal seat make it suitable for industrial water, steam condensate, oil and gas lines. Worm gear, electric and pneumatic operators are available.

Technical Specifications:
  • Pressure Class: PN16 / PN25 / PN40
  • Size Range: DN50 – DN1200
  • Applicable Medium: Water, steam condensate, oil, gas, air
  • Operating Temperature: -29°C to 200°C (soft seat) / up to 425°C (metal seat)

Key Product Features:
  1. Steel Body: WCB construction withstands higher pressure, temperature and pipe stress.
  2. Eccentric Disc: Reduced seat friction and longer seal life.
  3. Seat Options: Soft seat for zero leakage or metal seat for high-temperature duty.
  4. Blow-Out Proof Shaft: Safety design keeps the shaft retained under pressure.
  5. Actuation Flexibility: ISO 5211 top flange for gear, electric or pneumatic actuators.
Applications:

Ideal for Petrochemical Plants, Power Stations, Steel Mills, and Industrial Cooling Systems. Specifically suited for process lines where iron valves are not permitted.
